Feeling bored and unfulfilled in your current job? Now is the perfect chance to pursue the career you have always wanted. Both our Head of SCITT and SCITT manager retrained to become teachers after successful retail careers, and twenty years later they are encouraging new entrants into this amazing profession.
Every year our cohort is made up of approximately 50% new and recent graduates and 50% career changers, this means our team is experienced in helping you overcome barriers to starting again. The main concern from our previous career changers is that they believe they are not qualified enough to enter the classroom, however many careers have a lot of transferable skills that lay the foundations of a great teacher.
